When you dress...don't forget your smile.

Look at your smile in your mirror. Is it everything you want it to be? A smile is a great asset. But less than perfect teeth can keep you from smiling, subduing your warm, sparkling personality and your confidence.  If you feel self-conscious about your teeth when you smile, we can help you.

First, please take the time to evaluate your smile by answering these questions:

1. Do you like your smile?
2. Are your front teeth straight?
3. Are your front teeth even in length?
4. Are your teeth all the same color?
5. Do you have any fillings that show in your front teeth?
6. Do any of your fillings show when you smile broadly?

The good news...it doesn’t cost a million dollars to have a million-dollar smile. Your smile might be helped by one of our new procedures, for very little cost, and it won’t hurt at all.

Bonding:  This can be used to camouflage stains, close gaps and repair broken teeth. Tooth bonding involves roughening the enamel with a mild acid solution, then layering a putty-like resin material onto the tooth. The material is sculpted to the desired shape, then hardened and polished. Bonding is painless and usually costs one-third to one-half as much as conventional crowns.

Veneers:  Thin, strong porcelain, composite or glass veneers can also be used to whiten stained teeth and cover chips or gaps. The veneers are bonded directly to the enamel of your teeth.

Tooth-colored inlays/onlays:  In some cases, your amalgam filling can be replaced with a tooth-colored material. When your tooth is restored this way, it looks like a naturally perfect tooth and is actually stronger.

Crowns:  Sometimes imperfections or stains are severe and better results can be achieved with caps. Frequently, a beautiful smile you may see is created by using crowns.
